In-person individual counseling for Christian adults seeking help with anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, burnout, spiritual pressure, and painful church experiences.
Christian Counseling That Fits Your Needs and Pace
You may be looking for steady, ongoing counseling, or you may need more focused time to work through a concern that has kept resurfacing. At my Fort Thomas office, I offer 50-minute individual counseling, 90-minute extended sessions, and half-day counseling intensives, so the format fits your needs rather than determining whether you can receive care.
Each option provides thoughtful, faith-integrated counseling in a calm and private Northern Kentucky setting. Together, we can address anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, shame, imposter thoughts, burnout, church hurt, or spiritual wounds without separating your emotional health from your Christian faith.
Choose the Fort Thomas Format
that Fits This Season
Different seasons call for different kinds of support. At my Fort Thomas office, I offer traditional weekly and bi-weekly sessions, and two deeper-format options for individual Christian counseling: 90-minute extended sessions and half-day counseling intensives.
Here is a brief overview to help you begin considering which option may fit best:
50-Minute Individual Counseling
A good fit if you’re looking for steady, ongoing counseling with space to address concerns over time at a familiar and sustainable pace.
Fifty-minute sessions provide regular weekly or bi-weekly support as you work through anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, burnout, church hurt, spiritual wounds, or a challenging season of life.
90-Minute Extended Sessions
A good fit if you want ongoing individual counseling with more room to process, reflect, and practice meaningful change.
Ninety-minute sessions can be helpful when a traditional therapy hour feels too brief or when you want more momentum without committing to a full intensive.
Half-Day Counseling Intensives
A good fit if you want focused, extended time to work through a specific concern, such as anxiety, perfectionism, church hurt, burnout, spiritual wounds, or a major life transition. Intensives are designed to help you leave with greater clarity, practical next steps, and a written follow-up plan.

50-Minute Individual Counseling
Ongoing Christian Counseling in
Fort Thomas, KY
When You Want Steady, Consistent Support
Sometimes meaningful change unfolds through regular conversations, continued practice, and a trusted counseling relationship over time. You may be looking for help with an immediate concern, or you may want ongoing support as you work through patterns that have developed across years.
Fifty-minute individual counseling provides a familiar and sustainable rhythm for addressing what you’re carrying without requiring a longer session or concentrated intensive.
What 50-Minute Sessions Offer
These sessions offer individual Christian counseling in Fort Thomas for adults seeking thoughtful, ongoing support with anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, self-doubt, burnout, church hurt, spiritual wounds, or significant life and leadership pressures.
Our work may include making sense of patterns that keep you stuck, developing new ways of responding to difficult thoughts and emotions, and taking practical steps toward the relationships, responsibilities, and values that matter most to you. Your Christian faith can be integrated explicitly through Scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection or more subtly, depending on your needs and preferences.
When This Format May Be a Good Fit
Fifty-minute sessions may be a good fit if you want regular counseling, prefer to work through concerns gradually, or need a more accessible starting point before deciding whether additional time would be helpful. Sessions may be scheduled weekly, every other week, or at another clinically appropriate frequency based on your needs and availability.
Fee for 50-Minute Sessions
Fifty-minute individual counseling sessions are $125 per session.
Fees are listed clearly so you can make an informed decision before scheduling. The same fee applies whether you receive counseling at my Fort Thomas or Maysville office.
If you are unsure whether a 50-minute session, a 90-minute extended session, or a counseling intensive would fit you best, a free clarity call can help you consider your options.
90-Minute Extended Counseling Sessions
Unhurried Individual Christian Counseling in Fort Thomas, KY
When a Traditional Therapy Hour Feels Too Brief
Sometimes a traditional therapy hour does not feel like enough. You may need more time to slow down, process what is happening beneath the surface, and leave with a clearer sense of what to practice between sessions.
What 90-Minute Sessions Offer
Ninety-minute extended sessions offer individual Christian counseling in Fort Thomas for adults and church leaders seeking greater depth and momentum without committing to a full half-day intensive. This format can be helpful when you are working through anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, spiritual wounds, or a painful pattern that keeps resurfacing.
With more time in the room, we can move beyond simply catching up and into focused, meaningful counseling work. That may include identifying stuck patterns, developing new skills to address difficult thoughts and emotions, connecting your faith and values with your healing process, and clarifying practical next steps you can begin living out between sessions.
When This Format May Be a Good Fit
A 90-minute session may be a good fit if you want ongoing support, need extra space around a specific issue, or want more momentum than a standard session typically allows.
Fee for 90-Minute Sessions
90-minute extended counseling sessions are $200 per session.
Fees are listed clearly so you can make an informed decision before scheduling. This format offers more time, depth, and focus than a traditional therapy hour while remaining a smaller commitment than a counseling intensive.
Are 90-minute extended sessions or a counseling intensive the best fit? A free clarity call can help you choose the Fort Thomas counseling option that best fits where you are and what you’re carrying.
Half-Day (3.5 Hours) Counseling Intensives
(Deeper Dive Therapy Sessions)
When you’re already doing healing work (or have done it in the past) but feel stalled, overwhelmed, or stuck on the same themes, a focused half-day can help you gain traction. In one concentrated arc, we’ll process what’s most pressing, align next steps to your faith and values, and help you return to life—and your ongoing therapy—with clarity and tools you can use right away.
The word ‘intensive’ indicates the length and depth of your sessions, and doesn’t necessarily refer to literal intensity. Instead, there is time and space to work through the hurt and wounding you’ve endured adequately.
What are Intensives?
Therapy intensives are extended 3.5-hour counseling blocks that condense work that typically unfolds across multiple 50–60-minute sessions into a single half-day. The concentrated time lets us stay with one theme, avoid stop-and-start momentum, and get underneath patterns without weeks between appointments. Because the work is focused and uninterrupted, an intensive can often accomplish what might take weeks or months of standard therapy—and you leave with clear next steps to keep the progress going. Offered one day per week in Fort Thomas (limited spots).
Christian counseling intensives are a good fit if you are
- Currently in counseling, and progress has stalled
- Returning to therapy after a break
- A Faith-based leader/professional with limited time and bandwidth who needs momentum quickly
- Someone with a layered story and a traditional session will only scratch the surface.
- Eager to fast-track your time in therapy
How Intensive Sessions Work
1. 30-Minute Video Clarity Call: We will meet via my secure Google Meet platform to discuss your goals and determine if an intensive is the right fit for you. During this time, I will answer your questions and schedule your welcome session if we both agree that an intensive is right for you.
2. 90-Minute Welcome Session: This in-person meeting will take place at my Fort Thomas office. We will begin building rapport and familiarity with one another and with the intensive process. I will assist you in identifying and discussing your goals and challenges, and we will prioritize our time for the upcoming intensive session. This preparation will help ensure you are ready to engage deeply with the painful thoughts, emotions, and sensations intertwined with your story.
3. 3.5-Hour Intensive (deep work) Session: In this session, we will implement the plan established during your welcome session. We will conduct deep work in a quiet, focused, and uninterrupted environment at my Fort Thomas office. Together, we will cultivate grace-rooted courage for healing and growth.
4. 90-Minute Post-Intensive Wrap-Up: In this final meeting, we will reflect on your progress and create a plan for continued healing and growth.

I Understand a Therapy Intensive is a Financial Commitment.
It’s also a place where you can accelerate growth, healing, and movement toward a purposeful and meaningful life.
You’re tired of hitting plateaus and interruptions to your growth, and you’re ready for sustained progress. If weekly 50–53-minute sessions feel slow or too stop-and-start, an intensive condenses the work into a focused, abbreviated process so you can gain clarity, movement, and a plan you can carry forward.
